NAPPA LEATHER
Nappa lambskin is a premium leather known for its exceptional softness, silky texture, and low thickness. It is created by chrome or other tanning processes on lamb hides, resulting in a supple and smooth finish ideal for high-end apparel, gloves, and accessories.
Key specifications include an average thickness of 0.5−0.70.5 minus 0.70.5−0.7 mm, a soft temper, and a smooth grain
- Softness and texture:Â It has a luxurious, silky hand and a very soft temper, making it feel comfortable against the skin.Â
- Grain:Â The grain is typically smooth and fine, with fewer imperfections than cowhide, though some natural grain is visible.Â
- Finish:Â It can be aniline or pigment-dyed, often with a light pigmentation to achieve colour while retaining a natural look.Â
- Durability:Â It is more delicate than thicker leathers like cowhide and can scuff easily, but proper care helps maintain its appearance.Â
